Hot Take Showdown

Hot Take Showdown is a high-energy, head-to-head debate game where bold opinions take center stage. Two students go up against each other to argue for or against a hot take, bringing their best arguments, wild reasoning, and confident delivery. With every round, the debates get louder, funnier, and more competitive as the crowd reacts and decides who made the better case. It’s unpredictable, crowd-driven, and perfect for big personalities and big reactions.

How to Play

Choose two students to come on stage. Give one student the hot take to argue for and the other to argue against it. Each student has 30 seconds to make their case. After both have presented, the crowd votes for who they think won the round. The winner stays on stage and a new challenger is selected to face them in the next round. Continue playing for multiple rounds or until a set number of wins is reached.
