There is a manufacturing flaw in the glaze near the bottom of the bowl on the exterior in the form of three small marks  that are less than 1\/8th inch in size (please see photos). These marks do not bleed through to the interior of the bowl, but due to its compromised glazing, we would not recommend putting this bowl in the oven. The interior of the bowl contains one pencil point-sized stain mark and two smaller underglaze marks that most likely were part of flecks in the natural clay composition.
