Carrying all the decorative charm of simple farmhouse style, this jug was made in the bustling pottery hub of Stoke-On-Trent, England under the manufacturing brand of Elijah Cotton Ltd. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eElijah started his business in 1880 before building the Nelson Pottery in 1885. A leading manufacturer in the area, Elijah, and then the generations following, produced pottery under the name Elijah Cotton, as well as Lord Nelson, Nelson Ware, and Lord Nelson Ware between 1880-1981. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDebuting in the early 1950s, Lord Nelson's banded jug design was produced all the way through the 1980s and came in several different sizes.
