Who’s Slang Is It Anyway? is a fun, guess-and-move elimination game that tests how well students really know the origins of popular slang. Each round, a slang word or phrase appears on screen, and players must decide which generation it came from. As the rounds go on, confidence gets tested, guesses get bolder, and the room quickly shrinks as only the correct answers move on. It’s nostalgic, surprising, and full of “no way that’s that old!” moments.

How to Play

Show a slang word or phrase on the screen along with different generation options assigned to corners of the room. Students move to the corner that matches the generation they think the slang came from. Once everyone has chosen, reveal the correct answer. Students who guessed correctly stay in the game, while anyone who got it wrong is out and returns to their seat. Continue round by round until only one student remains or stop when a small group is left standing.
